This was an excellent story, made even better by the dialect. It must have been hard to write. I rarely use dialect, because the voice in my head is always the TV version and it doesn't sound true, just a homogenized version which I then homogenize even more. One of the many things I enjoy about Mark Twain is his use of dialect. You set yourself a difficult challenge and you succeeded.
