Good catch, that's why I need proofreaders. There is a direct line of relationship, but I simply didn't catch that on the interminable read-throughs that I put it through. Tight on time is often not my friend. Thank you for catching that, if I ever need to revise it for some reason or other, that will be a definite change - LOL.
BUT, upon rereading, I'm not seeing where I said they were childless (although one mention might have escaped my proofreading). In several paragraphs Grandmother and her children are mentioned together. Still, it's a good reminder that I need to proofread, and then proofread a few dozen more times - LOL.
