Happy Friday
It's Friday and I really need it. My art project got one step farther yesterday with a little time in the early morning and a half hour of time at the end of the day. Crazy - shoveling my time into small bits and pieces. Considering how often I end up pushing my creative activities into small portions of time, it's no wonder that I love writing drabbles. The short and focused 100-word stories fit within my crazy time frame. So, I have the next step of the project perched in my head, but it has to clarify a little more before I set pencil or pen to paper.
DH wants to take photos and learn how to download them into his computer and play with them on Sunday. I would love to help him do that, it's something he's been wanting to do for a long time, but I don't have a workable copy of Photoshop CS5. My old Adobe 5 which I use on all of my other computers won't work on DH's new computer so a friend sent me some CS5 codes. But the licensing codes are temporary codes and I can't manage to get the software to work more than a short time before it requires another code. It's been frustrating because I've wanted to do some work with CS5 also. I just don't have the money to buy the program. I was pricing it out this morning and - ouch! I really want the program, and my Photoshop is a program that I use on most of my computers on a daily basis, but - ouch! Maybe I should try another license code?.....sigh
I have been sleeping downstairs on the couch for more than a week, getting over a head cold and cough that was miserable for me and anyone in my vicinity. I'm mostly over it now, though, and think I may try sleeping in my very own bed again tonight. I kindof miss my DH next to me, although I'd have to use my earplugs again since his snoring keeps me awake otherwise. It's a positive/negative situation, but the positives usually outweigh the negatives, and isn't it often that way in life? Have a creative Friday!
