 I'm a bit disappointed.

I was and still am quite happy with my response for the current challenge, but I guess my thoughts aren't shared by others. Maybe it's because I went off-format into poetry instead of a story or tale, but I'm not receiving the votes. If you reconsider and want to vote, it's open until 7:00 pm tonight. Here's the link.

I liked your entry! It generally seems like poetry doesn't fare as well, and I don't know why because it's the genre I prefer, lol. Sometimes people get more response when they provide audio, maybe because inflection/tone helps? But that's just my observation over time. It's hard to know what will resonate with folks from week to week!

Yes, poetry - although it speaks to the soul - tends in general to be a less popular literary format. Of course, Poe is the exception, as is Shakespeare. LOL
