What's In Your Wallet?

It's nice when a credit card company looks out for you. Really, it is. But it can become a PITA too, especially when it's the card on which you have renewals and auto payments set up. In 2016 my Discover card was replaced two times - my original card was compromised in mid-year, they cancelled that account and sent me a new card, then sent another new card - a chip card this time - later in the year. So, in 2016 I had three different Discover cards.

I really like my Discover card. I like their service, their
interest rates, and it's the one card I use that DH doesn't
have so I can track my expenses really easily. But four
cards in a twelve month period? Really?

comments

Dreams of Equipment

So, DH and I went to that little Gem & Mineral show on Sunday and dreams of equipment have once again sprouted in DH's head. He has wanted to play with rocks for a long time.

comments

Not Doing Well Today

So, I have a Spring cold. My sinuses won't stop draining, my head hurts, I have body aches, even my eyes hurt. I can't take the day off to sleep because Chickie has doctor appointments scheduled for today so she can't take my shift for me, so I'll just have to work through this. But I feel really icky. This started coming down on me on Saturday, and yesterday, Sunday, I didn't go out at all, had a very restless night's sleep, and although I played LOTRO for five hours, I pulled off the network at 5pm our time, meaning that I missed the chance to play with my California friend, Aearwen again - the second weekend in a row.

I just feel crappy. So, rather than burden anyone with more details, I'll just sign off for today and hope that tomorrow will be better.

comments
