So, DH is sick. Like coughing every minute or two sick. He doesn't tolerate sickness well, he's all grumpy because he doesn't want to feel this badly. I can't really blame him. But, to try and avoid coming down with his creeping crud, I'm sleeping on the couch in the living room. Not the end of the world - I actually sleep on the couch fairly often, but not as comfy as the bed. I set my alarm, put my earplugs in so that his coughing wouldn't wake me up, and went to sleep. I woke up at 2:45 am and told myself that I had another 45 minutes to sleep, then went back to sleep. The lights turned on (automatically) at 4am and I woke up. Somehow, in my sleep, I had turned off my alarm, or it had finally given up trying to get through my ear plugs. Either way, I overslept 30 minutes. Oy veh! So...now I'm rushed and pics today will be quick and dirty - LOL.
We got a whisper of snow last night, and DH is determined to shovel it. I'm inclined to let him be the suffering hero. Hopefully he will be able to work tomorrow, then he can take the rest of the week off if he wants, just to recover from the "sickness". I feel like I should put a "Quarantined" sign on his door..... Have a sickness-free day today!
And, of course, today is Valentine's Day. I send a wave out to all of my friends and wish you a fabulous day. I appreciate each and every one of you, my life would be poorer without you.
