Well, Saturday's post led to some very interesting discussions about overextending myself (which is the normal way that I've lived my life for 50+ years) and archiving suggestions for my future drabbles and other short items. Lots to think about and things to organize when I have some spare time. Loved the interaction!
I'm keeping up well with the prompts for B2ME. The last few have been really easy - the numbers called only had two or three items that had to be included, MUCH easier than five very divergent ones. So I'm happy. And our weather has been SPECTACULAR! It's early March, and I was wearing my leather jacket yesterday. Amazing! We treated ourselves to a trip to Dick Blick yesterday for a very special sale - 20% off everything. Jim bought watercolors and a watercolor pad, I bought a small plaster statue of the head of David. Why would I want this? Well, drawing in an atelier always features working on different statuary to get shading down. Also, having a good bust gives me different profiles which can be difficult to find in some of my posing books and images. I'm pleased with him - he's quite beautiful.
I wish I could draw eyes as well as this. Maybe I should visit his website for the tutorial...
So today I will finish a story with Arwen and Gurthang (which is a sword if you're not a Tolkien-nut) and continue with a story featuring beads. Yes, beads. It was one of the items on the Art Supplies card and finally I had my main media chosen. Call me happy :-)
