Books That Impact - The Little Prince

Today is the birthday of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (born in 1900), the author of The Little Prince. Seeing that in my Email this morning of course turned my mind to thinking about those books that influenced my years from childhood through age 20, many of which are still beloved friends which get re-read regularly.

So I now begin my journey towards my 59th birthday. Eeek! It is such a large number. I grew up as a child of the 1960's and don't think I've ever truly left my hippie days behind. One of the sentiments that we said so blithely in those days was to never trust anyone over the age of 30. Well, I've left that age far behind me. I guess I can't trust myself any more. Hmmm....
